Masa Sushi Sake in Dickinson

The place serves big portions and for fair prices. very friendly owner. Highly recommended.

I love the other Masa Sushi locations, so I expected the same quality and service at the Dickinson location. I was the only customer in the restaurant, and it took over 10 minutes before I saw a server to place my drink order (hot tea). Then the server disappeared for at least another 10 minutes before my tea arrived and I could place my sushi order. Still the only customer, I waited again and sipped my tea. My food finally came, and the server disappeared again. Then I noticed that the inner rim of the tea cup was filthy and looked like it had been that way a long time. I didn't take another sip or bite and waited another 10 minutes so I could pay the bill and leave. I'll never go back to that location.

They are good. But seen or Price compared to other places. Might as well go to samurai sushi

Quality comes first when it comes to picking a restaurant. Masa has this. Quality food. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. I've tried many places in the area and nothing compares to Masa Sushi. There league city and clearlake locations are the best for sushi. Their grasshopper rolls offers a clean light taste and their John Wayne is filled with flavor. The masa tower is amazing. Although the masa tower is labeled as an appetizer, I usually get it as an entree with the sushi rolls.

Masa Sushi is incredible. The sushi taste great and gives you a sense of being in Asia. If you want to enjoy great Sushi go to Mass Sushi!

There was no wait on a Thursday night, immediately sat in a booth, and server was outstanding. We ordered wasabi, came camelion and crunchie maki. They were delicious! Food cane out quickly, sea weed salad deal and free edamame after 5:00 PM. This was our first time here and will be back. Very nice atmosphere.

Not even close unless pictures on menu aren't supposed to represent actual item. Guess because I doordash they figured they could work me over. Also was bland like it was home cooked by inexperienced cook.

Really good sushi and great selections

The wife and I went here recently. Haven't been in years. Since the corona virus, now you have to wear a mask inside which is ridiculous because you almost instantly take it off as soon as you come inside and sit down. Aside from that though, the place is great. Started off with the Edamame and a drink for her. We had the spider roll which is delicious and the spicy tuna roll. It was fresh and tasty. The price wasn't amazing but it was tolerable. We left spending 40 Dollars and 10 for a tip.

Been here twice; dined in once and had take out the other. Good service and great sushi. I strongly recommend the Honolulu Roll. Also had the Godzilla Roll (great deep fried roll) and the Rainbow Roll. I definitely recommend this place!

The Reason why I gave it a one star is because the manager was rude to me and other customers that were that and I ask him for some water and he said I’m the manager I don’t have to do that for you. I was like wth is wrong with you

If you want the royal treatment and the perfect lineup of sushi ask for Nathan to serve you. I eat a lot of sushi and have traveled Asia! I’m not sure what I ate but I asked him to set me up with his favorite 5 rolls, and to be honest if it was as good if not BETTER than my favorite sushi place! Definitely coming back and having Nathan get me his Awesome suggestions! The only thing I would upgrade is the ginger but everything else tasted very high quality. 5 Stars no doubt in my mind.

American pop hits is usually playing over the speakers for all ages to enjoy, ranging from 90s music to today's. Their fried rice is amazing, though their sushi is a bit pricey. It's not a cheap alternative and tipping is set at a minimum of 18% but you ARE paying for quality of food and environment. Service has always been amazing since the last two years I've been coming.

The food was good. The service was TERRIBLE. It was slow. There may have been one other table in our section and we waited forever for our one bar drink. Waited just as long to cash out. I NEVER leave a mediocre tip because I served before. I literally left a 10% tip with no regrets.

I eat sushi often. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I was hoping that my first was a one off. It seems that is not the case. I sat at the sushi bar as I always do when I eat at a Japanese place. The sushi is all pre-sliced and sitting in trays. Against my better judgement, I ordered food anyway, hoping that what I saw was not what I would be served. I soon found that not to be the case. The pieces were small and dry. They had obviously been cut for a while. The price was a bit of an over estimate of the quality that I received. I was also dissapointed to find out that they were out of the sake that ordered, as well as 2 of the types of sushi that I stopped there to get. The service was mediocre at best. Very unhappy with my experience. I will stick with my local sushi place as their fish is always fresh and prepared to order and they are never out of things that I want. Will not be back to Mass.

Great atmosphere and music! If you like crawfish, the volcano roll is amazing! It paired great with the house soup and complimentary edamame. Our server, Antonio was awesome! Me and my husband both had the house soup and shared the volcano roll with a large hot sake and a Tsingtao and our bill was $35. We highly recommend this location!

Place was a complete disappointment for my first time there. The susi tasted like it was over a week old. Bottom line, way to much money for the food that was presented tonight.

Hibachi was great and service was excellent.

They are requiring you to wear a mask while eating. I understand at other places like HEB, department stores, or even in public. but while you're eating that does not make sense. If they feel that way then do togo orders only... Usually one of my favorite places to eat.

Good Menu, great food, nice service, good weekday specials, and relaxing environment.I've been coming to this location for a while now. Service has remained fairly consistent, and the food quality is always top-notch. I always eat at the Sushi-Bar, and it provides a nice relaxing environment for a simple bite at the end of the day.As the name implies, their menu focuses on Sushi. While the best sushi os of course up to personal taste, there are of few favorites of mine. I'd always recommend the Spicy tuna roll, any of the Sashimi, the Hamachi (yellowtail) belly, the cooked eel, or the flying fish row. They also have cooked entries, and I always recommend their lunch special bento box for a good bite.

I loved it would totally go there again! I went with my father and we got baby octopus, a seaweed salad, miso soup with a salad that had ginger dressing, and what I got was the Sashimi sampler B and he got a cooked tuna dish I forgot the name though, and for dessert we got tempura fried cheesecake.The service was very lovely and quick. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet. The food was amazing. I would recommend it strongly if you have a craving for sushi. 5/5

I had the vegetable Udon, pretty good. I eat vegan, and the server worked with me to help me order without the usual sauces with animal products in them

Always good rolls and service here. We had several half rolls to share! Love the option to get a smaller roll.
